Some time has passed since i last made a news post so i'm probably going to forget some of the imbetween things from the last news post to now. There is a very valid reason for there being no recent news posts and that reason is that i am a slacker and didn't have Dreamweaver installed on this PC and thats what i use to write these in.
Firstly just an update on our 25 man progress, we have now killed Flame Leviathan, Razorscale, Ignis the Furnace Master, XT-002 Deconstructor, The Iron Counsil, Kologarn, Auriaya, Freya, Thorim and Hodir. We had 2 weeks on light raiding due to a lot of people being on holiday which unfortunately held back out raiding and progress by quite a bit. However now we are back on track and will be making weekly progress. Our 25 man progress still takes our main raid times, 2100-2400 Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday so now we are back on track for progress with the guild being stronger than it has been for some time. I have faith that our progress will be swift in the coming weeks.
Now, i should probably post something concerning the confusion and recent alligations of us exploiting Hodir to complete the hard mode. We would just like to take a moment to mention that we in no way intended to exploit the boss, nor did we know of any exploit until AEnema QQ'd on the forums massively. Us gaining this achievement was through luck and the fact that the boss was bugged at the time we happened to kill him.
Moving on to our 10 man progress, we have had brilliant progress here, we have now been farming 10 man full clears (apart from Algalon) for three weeks. We are currently working on hard modes and the achievements for the rusted proto drake. We have done Flame Leviathan +2, XT-002 Decostructor hard mode and Kologarns 'Disarmed' achievement. We are also working on the Keepers of Ulduar's hard modes this week to unlock Algalon so we can complete 10 man Ulduar. We have a lot of new videos up, just check out my YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/user/Fluffygong) the latest being our XT-002 Deconstructor 10 man hard mode kill and our Yogg-Saron kill. We continue to farm 10 man trying different achievements each week but still ensuring that we have enough time to get a full clear as our group doesn't exactly have BIS pre-Ulduar gear.
We have had a lot of new recruits revently and i'd just like to welcome them to our guild and wish them luck in passing their trials. From what i have seen most of our recent recruits are an asset to the guild, some of which already completing 10 man Ulduar with our group.

Other week has past and here and Legion we're bought some more videos for your viewing pleasure! Check out our latest videos of us downing XT-002 Deconstructor 10 man we even achieved the 'Must Deconstruct Faster' achievement by complete fluke! Check out that video here. Also last week we downed Razorscale with 'A quick shave' achievement, again through luck. During our ventures into Ulduar it becoming increasingly apparent that a lot of the achievements do not require skill to achieve but instead luck or just doing things right.
Aswell as downing Thorim this week with our 10 man team we have pushed ahead and downed Ignis the Furnace Master and XT-002 Deconstructor on 25man. This week we have had a lot of new applicants applying to the guild. Welcome and Congratulations to those who got accepted, welcome aboard. We hope you prove to be an asset to the guild and progress past your trial period.
In the upcoming week i will be aiming to capture video of all our 25man boss kills, however with my 10 and 25 man commitments these may not all be online the night of the raids but watch our forums raid section to see all the updated videos we have.
Also this coming week we will be aiming to get enough time around 25 man raids to get a full clear of 10 man Ulduar along with a full set of videos. So stay tuned for further developements in our Ulduar conquest!
A new week is upon us and it's time to retell the stories of last weeks raiding. After many late nights we have had good 10 man progress. However our 25 man progress is a little slack. Since my last post we have downed Auriaya, The Iron Council, Hodir, Freya and Ignis the Furnace Master. Auriaya was downed late on Thursday night after a few attempts, we tried different tactics and tecniques and finally downed her, it's always the same wipe, wipe, wipe, then down the boss and make it look really easy.
Anyway, after having the weekend off we once again stepped into Ulduar on monday night,ready for battle. We first of all tackled Ignis the Furnace Master, fighting hard we took her down after a couple of attempts. Fight mechanics were easy enough, just need to learn them. After downing Ignis we moved onto take out the Iron Council, and i manage to get myself killed, but i'm loving these Ulduar fights. Remind me of the old Black Temple enounters. It requires the whole raid to be skilled to down the bosses and not get themselves wtfpwned.
We downed The Iron Council after a couple of attempts and with a bit of luck after some of us noobed it up near the end and it came down to just bursting him down. Freya was our next challange, after working out her trash we just downed all 3 elders and engaged her. Got raped, refreshed, read tactics and tried again. This time more successful using our own tecnique to handle the different pacts of adds another fun fight, however someone easy once you have 10 players who know what they are doing.
It was Tuesday night and we were hoping to down another 2 bosses before the reset to roung off our progress at a nice 10 bosses, however we struggled on Hodir and after some aka's and our tank falling asleep before the end of the raid we ended up just downing Hodir after a lot of attempts and changing of tanks followed by an epic game of hide and seek in Freya's garden. Congratulations to Octhellion who won the 10gold for best hiding position!
Now we look forward to a fresh raid week and hopefully a clear of 10man Ulduar plus some 25man progress.
Legion has had a good fight since the release of Wrath of the Lich King, with all encounters apart from Sartharion 3D cleared. Looking forward to the beasts that Ulduar was going to release upon us, our 10man team were all online early on patch day eagerly awaiting the servers to re-open. As usual, the patch was delayed leaving us all on Ventrilo with not a great deal to do. When the servers finally opened we had just enough time to get online and down Flame Leviathan on our first attempt with little trouble.
After a couple of attempts on Razorscale we had to call it a day to go for our guilds weekly Naxx 25man clear. Well we're not going for any world first's are we. After the Naxx 25man finishes the 10man team is straight back into Ulduar and we get Razorscale down in the night and have a few attempts at Ignis only to wipe.
Thursday night we went to 25man, Flame Leviathan downed in 1 shot again and we moved onto Razorscale, a bit more challanging here. There were some long hard fights here as we fought to kill him. After a good few tries we downed him with some luck. He enraged at 8% and we kiting him around with different taunts and the remaining DPS took him down. Well done to them.
Again after our 25man we returned once more to 10man and downed XT-002 Deconstructor without too much trouble once we had refined the tactics of the fight and got to grips with it. It was getting late and after a few attempts on the Iron Council we moved onto Kologarn. Not knowing the tactics fully we went straight in there and got him down to 5%. After a little research we found out just DPS him straight down as we had done was the hard mode. After the kill, not the achievement we just took him down the easy way. It was a real fun fight, my most enjoyable of Ulduar so far.
On Sunday night our 25man team will once more step onto the battle field to fight. Hoping to atlesat catch up with our current 10man progress. Also more 10man progress coming soon with 10man raids on Monday and Tuesday. More news coming at the end of this exciting week of raiding.
